I’m Shkurte, the owner and photographer behind SGD Photography. I specialise in Family portraits, Headshots, Glamour photography, weddings and landscape photography. I love capturing and documenting beautiful family moments, as well as breath taken locations.
Photography has always been a passion of mine, I love the emotions and the sense of fun that an image can evoke and I feel hugely privileged to be able to take one of my passions and turn it into a career.
I was 18 years old when I started doing photography. I didn’t have the best camera back than, only my phone, or my Sony DSC-W800 Digital Camera . I stopped for few years, till I had my oldest daughter ten years ago and started taken pictures again.
Now I’m working with a Nikon d7500. I love this camera and the way it captures photos in all settings. I love to get to know the people I’m doing photoshoots with, and making sure they are comfortable, and happy before and during the shoots.
Why Photography? It’s my passion – Creating simple, elegant, timeless portraits. I believe images should be displayed and shared, not put away in the kitchen drawer to print another day! I love nothing more than capturing a families story and transforming it into a beautiful piece of Wall Art or a Fine Art album that will provide joy to their family for generations to come.
